Lea's Confirmation

After our few days of vaca on the Dutch North Sea, we headed back to Eva's hometown to go to Lea's confirmation.

Quinn and Emily got special kiddie hard boiled egg holders ... with a hammer to crack the egg.  They had fun with that.

 We had awesome weather, and could even enjoy Lea's backyard pool. It was also great to see the kids all hussied up. Even though it was a long day (with the service starting around 10am), the kids were very well behaved.   ...but we did have to air them out once in a while. Thankfully, there was a playground near the restaurant.

Quinn really loved playing with Lea and all of her (female) friends.  They did a great job taking care of him, and I'm still amazed that they 'put up' with him for so long.  Perhaps Quinn was still young enough to be 'cute', but still old enough to play with.  We'll see how it works out when Quinn is about 10 years older ;-)
