Piran on the Slovenian Coast

Our trip continued from the mountains of Slovenia to the coastline - first to Piran then to the Croatian coast. The Slovenian coastline is relatively small - basically enough for a seaport and some beach villages.

The long boardwalk offered a great chance to see the old city and to gaze into the crystal clear, deep blue Mediterranean. Plenty of ice cream to eat as well.

Here's Piran from the other side of the port. The old town was cool to visit but definitely a one day town. It was time to move on to the Croatian coast. Posted by Picasa
