Eike and Jörg's Wedding: 24 Jun 06

Everything was perfectly set for Eike and Jörg's wedding: great church in the center of Erlangen, wonderful weather, and a reception in the countryside. The only conflict was that the reception was during the Germany v. Sweden World Cup Round of 16 Game.

...the most asked question before the wedding was: will there be a TV at the reception? After some discussion, the TV won out...such a young marriage and such opportunity for a disagreement.

As with all German weddings, various games are definitely in order. The Erlangen gang bought the new couple a dresser from IKEA, which they had to put together as a team (yet another opportunity for an argument...especially if you've ever had to put together an IKEA dresser). They did a great job, and thereafter, the guests could paint the dresser to make it a bit more personal.
