Philipp and Doro's Wedding

On September 1st, Eva's cousin, Philipp and Doro had their civil marriage ceremony (Standesamt). They got married in a historical castle in Mülheim that had been very nicely rennovated. Thankfully, despite rain earlier in the day, they had great weather for the wedding.

After the ceremony, there was a very nice family gathering at Doro's parents to celebrate the event. Of course, we took the opportunity - with us all being hussied up and with the weather being so nice - to take some pics. Below, Quinn trying to grab the pics of Oma Göttgens' glasses.

Quinn also loves my ties. I'm not too sure what fascinates him so much about ties, but whenever I'm wearing a tie, he wants to grab it (and then slobber all over it when he puts it in his mouth). When I come home from work, we spend a few minutes playing with my ties.

Seriously guys, no need for fancy gifts for Quinn for Christmas...just get me some ties ! ;-)
