Nikolaus

On the 6th of December, we (along with many Germans) celebrate St. Nikolaus' Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Nicholas).

If children clean shoes and put them outside the door, Nikolaus will put goodies in the shoes for the children by the morning.

Not too sure if this was an accident or on purpose, but Quinn picked the biggest shoes he could find:  my boots (which needed cleaning anyway).

There were even some Legos to unwrap.

...and now the Christmas season can truly begin!
