60th Wedding Anniversary

On the 11th of December, Eva's Grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. In the morning, there was a short church service followed by cake, coffee, and lunch at Diergardts (the same restaurant we had our wedding reception).

It was great to hear all of the stories from Eva's grandparents and their friends about the 'old days'. When I asked about the weather on the day they got married, Eva's grandfather said that it was so cold that the water in the flower vase froze.
